I have been a interested in purchasing Jackery portable power station for quite sometime now; seeing it in the various prepper, outdoors, and camping/RV channels reviews, it seems that this piece of equipment is must have for both outdoor use, readiness/emergency, and other general use where power is not readily available. For starters, I purchased Jackery 240, in which my pocket can afford and a mid-level box at the time (between J160 & J500 - pre-Jackery 1000), along with the SolarSaga 60 solar panel. Rule of thumb, if you are purchasing a solar rechargeable power station/box, it is wise…

Reliable Power in a small package !!!
This Jackery Explorer 240Wh purchased was on 12-12-18 and review written on 3-3-19. I go camping regardless of weather conditions about 120+ days a year. I have 30 tents of various sizes, shapes and designs which I modify each one for my needs. I camp all over the USA and keeping my devices charged up is of great importance. I have the Jackery Explorer 240Wh Power Station and Jackery 50watt Solar Panel Kit and Jackery 240 Protective Carrying Bag which I highly recommend. I love this small charging station setup. I used it for the 1st time while on a 3 week camping trip to Quartzsite, Arizona…

Hours of power in the size of a lunchbox!
The Power Station itself (as with all of my Jackery products thus far) feels great in the hand and build quality. They’ve balanced the weight of the batteries well so that when you carry it or move it, it doesn’t pull to one side. I would say it is about the size of a small lunchbox and weighs just over 6.5 pounds. It shipped with about a 30% charge, so my first step was getting it charged up fully. They include both a wall charger (12V/5A) and a Car Adapter to charge the unit. The wall adapter has a nice long cord and I would say it is comparable in build quality to a name-brand laptop…

Ran my Philips CPAP for 3 nights!
Ran my Philips Dreamstation CPAP for almost 3 nights, averaging 8 hours a night. Drawing about 45w of power when on at about 6 cmH2O. I charged the unit fully until it stopped drawing power at 100% charged. I ran the Dreamstation, no humidifier, modem off for 7.7 hours the first night and 8.6 hours the second night. The first night the Jackery battery was at 69% and the second night it was at 32%. I definitely could have gone a third night. I realized only after that I forgot to turn the Bluetooth function off, which may have saved an incremental amount of power. Nothing else was plugged in…

Only One Con...
Pros: I was able to run a small desk fan (constantly) on high speed for 8 hours, with a max output of 24W and the internal fan never came on to cool the charger. I was also able to fully charge two tablets and my phone while running the fan. To see what it would draw, I plugged a large more powerful floor fan into it, and the output went to 43W. At this point the internal fan did come on to cool unit. I like the size and weight, it was smaller and lighter than I was expecting, and it only took 4.5 hours to charge to 100% from 10%. Con: Power brick gets HOT after about only an hour.

Off Grid Power - Well Built
The Jackery has some very desirable features I couldn't find in other power stations: 1) Outputs are manually switched on/off. Some USB devices pull minimal power and other power stations will simply not detect them and switch off. 2) Solar power input. Essential for off grid use. No need to charge on AC or 12VDC. You can charge from a 50W solar panel. 3) Pass through charging. No matter how you're charging your Jackery, you can use it while it's charging. This has worked out great for being able to use it while also charging from a solar panel. button placement 4) Wattage input/output…

Perfect for my campervan and diesel heater
I built out a ram promaster for weekend camping and wanted a rechargeable battery to power my 12v interior system with interior lights and maxx air fan. I bought the 240 in May and it has fit the bill perfectly camping this summer. I run a pigtail from the 12v cigarette plug to supply power to my blue seas fuse block that sends power to my lights and maxx fan. This summer it’s powered the maxx air all night at 50% and still have 78% charge in the morning. I have 11 led puck lights in my ceiling with faders for different sections. It works great. With the display you can see exactly the…

Jackery power 240 won't charge but the brand accept the return.
Bought it 2 years ago but i only used it for 5-6 times. It was great but suddenly stops working. The input always shows 0 W. Reset the display for multiple times, sometimes it showed 0%, 1%, 90%, 100%, but whatever the power percentage it showed, the input was always 0 W and it was not charged at all. I used it quite carefully, and always keep it fully charged before put into the storage. I believed this was not the single case as I saw other users had similar issues with this model. I have another Jackery 2000 and so far it is good. After contacted the customer service, Rahul kindly let me…
