Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Jackery South Africa website and any orders you place with us. By using the site or submitting an order, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 25 June 2026 · Applies to darklight.homes

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Jackery South Africa’s website you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

2. Lead-generation store, not a payment platform

This website is a lead-generation store. You can browse products, build a cart, and submit an order, but no payment is processed online. Orders are confirmed and completed through WhatsApp or email. Prices displayed on the site are indicative and are confirmed with you before any payment is arranged.

3. Orders

  • Submitting an order via the form, WhatsApp, or email is an offer to purchase, not a binding contract.
  • An order is only accepted once we confirm it with you (in writing via WhatsApp or email) and arrange payment and delivery.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if pricing or stock information is incorrect, if fraud is suspected, or for any other legitimate reason.
  • Pricing errors: if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we may cancel the order and offer you the option to re-order at the correct price.

4. Pricing and currency

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. Delivery is free unless a surcharge applies to a remote area, in which case we will quote you before confirming the order.

5. Warranty

Jackery power stations sold through Jackery South Africa carry a 2-year manufacturer warrantyagainst defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Solar panels and accessories carry the warranty period stated on the product. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, accidents, or normal wear. See our Returns & Refunds policy for warranty claim steps.

6. Delivery

Delivery is arranged door-to-door across South Africa via The Courier Guy. Delivery timeframes and coverage are detailed in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds policy and the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA). Please read that policy for cooling-off periods and conditions.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, product images, the Jackery brand, logos, and layout — is owned by Jackery South Africa or its licensors and is protected by South African and international laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.

9. User conduct

You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, not to submit false or misleading information when placing an order, and not to interfere with the site’s operation or security.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackery South Africa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or any product. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product. This does not affect your statutory rights under the CPA.

11. Third-party links and services

The website may link to or integrate third-party services (e.g. WhatsApp, Google, Meta, The Courier Guy). We are not responsible for the practices or content of those third parties. Your use of their services is subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of South Africa, unless otherwise required by the CPA or other mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
